It’s never to early to begin thinking about your 2024-25 yearbook theme. All workshop attendees will have scheduled time with a Walsworth artist, and we highly recommend that you have your students brainstorm ideas either before school gets out or over the summer so that they are more productive with their artist time. You may even move on to endsheet and divider page design if you have your cover concept in place.

Walsworth has a new tips and tricks guide for the Yearbook 360 online design program on our website that you can also download as PDF here. This is a great booklet of step-by-step instructions for many awesome effects you can create quickly and easily in the program. These are effects that your staff can practice during or after workshop, and it also makes for a great takeaway for your yearbook class or club.

Advisers may also wish to brainstorm with your staff before summer regarding your group goals for the workshop. Do you plan to finalize or sketch your cover? How much of your ladder would you like to complete? Will you try to create a marketing plan or organize staff more effectively?
