Yearbook Jumpstart is a 1-day yearbook workshop designed to help you get ahead of next year’s yearbook and make your job easier while improving your book. The workshop helps you build a strong, team-oriented and motivated yearbook staff, and you and your students will develop a theme, meet with a cover artist to make a cover (and endsheets or divider pages if you like).
This year we will be offering two options/workshops for you to choose from. The first is our summer workshop in New York City (Manhattan) on Aug. 29, and the second will be our fall workshop in Connecticut on September 17.
Both workshops offer all the essential sessions that your students need to become rockstar editors such Online Design (beginner and advanced), Yearbook Photography, Yearbook Journalism, Yearbook Modules and Content Trends. Your staff will also be able to choose from electives such as Yearbook & Ad Sales, photo editing, editor roundtable and more.
